Caldo heats the ambient air by using a catalytic burner (butane powered) to heat an aluminium heatsink. The warmed air is pushed into the boots using two 40mm fans, powered by an external Li-ion battery.

This is my A3 sketch folio detailing the design journey I went through from concept to final design. It doesn't contain all my research and testing and the like, which was detailed in a separate log book.
